Disappointing
1. My room had lots of plaster that wasn't finished or painted, the main space and in the bathroom. It was very unappealing.
2. The neighborhood was FILTHY
3. Free breakfast was advertised, however they don't serve breakfast.

Huge room, loved the kitchenette, the lady who checked me in was kind, great price for size. The orthodox Jewish neighbourhood around is very safe to walk around.
When I wanted to check in I was told to wait 10 minutes for the shift change because the front desk didn’t want to do it before she left. Of course the poor woman who clocked in had to read logs and everything before checking me in, so it took an extra 20 minutes from when I arrived to check in when the lobby was completely empty.
When I entered the room there was a dirty cup on the headboard of the bed.
Beneath both beds were dirty and even had some trash from some previous guests. I went downstairs in the morning and asked the front desk if the cleaning lady could vacuum under the bed and was told of course. I came back 12 hours later and while my bed had been made, under the beds was still just as dirty.

The beds were so comfortable and clean. The lighting was also amazing, could have it bright but most of the time it was a cozy dim lighting vibe. The bathroom was clean and had everything you needed. The balcony was also really nice, no view, but really made it comfy and felt secluded in a good way.(made for really cool photos)
Only main downside was our key kept not working whenever we got back from going out. Easy fix though, just went and asked for it to be recharged basically.

- The neighborhood is exceptionally safe and just a short walk from the subway.
- The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
While the reception staff were very nice, the management has been among the worst I’ve ever experienced.
- I sent multiple messages via Booking and emails but never received a response. I had to call (which can be expensive if you’re based outside the US) multiple times to resolve an issue related to my booking.
- I requested a date change for a non-refundable booking. After asking multiple times, they agreed, but then asked me to make a new booking, promising to refund the original, which they never did. I had to reach out to Booking several times (even they were unable to contact the property) before finally receiving my refund.
This feels unprofessional and dishonest.

Clean rooms, one did smell bad. Cleaned thoroughly.
The parking is terrible, I swear I saw parking on the booking website, there is none! Short round female on night shift is very rude and very aggressive. Cultural disconnect.
