The hotel is close to the 86th st subway station, the penultimate subway station on the yellow line, which goes to the center and has good connections to other subway lines, but it takes about an hour to travel to the main tourist attractions. The neighborhood is quiet, although there are many shady individuals on the street.There are also many shops in the area.
I chose this hotel because it is part of the Best Western group. Unfortunately, I found a shabby hotel, everything very worn, ugly, dark rooms, noisy air conditioning. The blanket covering the bed was stained, the upholstery of the chairs was very worn, stained, the table in the room was scratched, the carpet was worn.

Good location. Rooms are big. A lot of eating options close to the hotel
The hotel is a little outdated. It looks like floors in the lobby and hallways were renovated recently, but the rooms are worn out.
