Location and style/vibe of the hotel was great.
My room was for light sleepers, I could hear people walking and talking loud. Someone walking with high heels sounded like they were in the same room with me.

Could hear people talking through out the night in the hallway. I could also hear the music from the top floor. For the price of the room I would've thought the rooms would be a bit more sound proof.

This hotel unfortunately spoiled our New Year’s Eve.
The room was extremely noisy. We could hear conversations from people near the doors, loud music from the party, and constant noise from the water pipes. It was very difficult to rest.
There is no designated drop-off area in front of the hotel due to “no parking” signs. The hotel-recommended parking garage tried to charge us $40 just for a 15 minutes drop-off. As a result, we had to park further away, and I had to carry two heavy suitcases to the hotel lobby by myself while my husband was returning the rental car.
The New Year’s Eve fireworks view from the hotel was mediocre and much farther away than expected.
The food at the hotel restaurant was overpriced and not tasty at all.
At the end of our stay, we spoke with the hotel manager about these issues. The manager approved a partial refund, but at the moment we still didn’t get anything. We contacted Booking.com to process the refund as the hotel manager asked us to do, and Booking.com says they still didn’t receive any confirmation about the refund from the hotel.
Overall, the hotel does not justify its high price. There are much better options available for the same cost.

Unfortunately this hotel organizes electronic music DJ parties every Thursday through Saturday. The club is located on the top floor of the hotel, right above rooms. We were not informed about it in advance. We stayed in room 708, and we heard very, very loud music. We were not able to sleep so was not our 9-month-old baby. I called the front office multiple times, and was told that "they will talk to the DJ". This did not help at all. Music was supposed to stop at 2AM, but it did not, and I had to call again, and finally it stopped around 2.30AM. I don't have anything against parties, but I truly can't understand how one can charge over 1000 per night, and casually withdraw the information that guests will not be able to sleep until the morning. It just goes beyond the comprehension and is very sad.
