Excellent location, nicely designed, beautiful rooftop
Rooftop shut very early around 9.00pm, gym quite small, vegan options limited in restaurants, windows could do with more glazing as noisy from traffic

Room AC has a highly audible and irritating vibration. No matter what setting - was incredibly detrimental to sleep quality.

Pleasant
Extremely kind people working at the front desk. This was very appreciated. They definitely went above and beyond to try and help with varying needs.
Honestly, for the cost (~$1000 USD/night including taxes), the value of the room itself was quite low. While we had a great view of the bridge, we were placed on the 10th floor directly under the EDM-fueled pool bar, and it literally vibrated our entire bedroom during the day. To be fair, we were told it was "kinda loud" by the staff and even offered another room once we vocalized this issue. However, at that point we were on our way out and it was too much to move. I just don't quite understand why that room would even exist, to be frank.
The room itself is dark, cramped, and the gestures at "eco-friendliness" feel more of a performance than an act of care for this earth we call home. But sure, I'll drink from the tap for a couple days. There were just a bunch of little accumulations - Room service ends early (11PM). No breakfast (of any kind) available past 11AM. This is a bit unheard of - again, for the price. And the food is super bizarre. Grain bowls? "Bodega bites" aka a grilled chicken sandwich and a Pat LeFrieda burger? I uh... am born and raised here and have never had either of those things at a bodega. But anyway. We parked our car at valet where they said it'd take 5 minutes if we texted in advance, but never took less than 15. The stuff just added up. We contemplated going home early.
The room and pool were notably smaller than images made it appear. The pool (maybe twice the size of our room) was insanely crowded on Friday afternoon, filled with kids or people taking photos, and no seats available to guests. This is no one's fault, but again, you pay a certain price and expect more. The whole area was also slovenly and unkempt. The redundant, thumping music. Everyone taking selfies everywhere and saying nothing. It's also just straight up a hotel for influencers, and every corner you turn reminds you as such. As a native New Yorker wanting a comfortable, luxe staycation for our wedding...

Poor
The view
Mexican/Hispanic lady at the front desk was passive aggressive and discriminatory. Told us all suites or even deluxe king rooms were sold out. Which was a lie, I came back to the front desk to ask why I had been given a regular king room after booking a deluxe, also asked again if there were suites available and her co-worker said yes and was cheerful about upgrading us. Even called when we were upstairs to makes sure we were ok.
The room is not well maintained. Dirty carpets. Dirty Drapes. Wear and tear on desks and side tables. There was a horrible fan noise that started at around 12am and persisted all night. They moved us to a sleep room at 2am after an engineer spent 40 minutes in our room trying to fix it. They offered to refund the upgrade amount (USD175) which was minimal in comparison to the full price. I hated my stay here and am going to call customer service for a full refund. This place really is poorly maintained and whoever the manager is doesn’t care that it affects the quality of guest stays. It doesn’t hold a candle to the quality of the 1Hotels in London, Los Angeles or even the Times Square location. Very disappointing.

Great location and cool atmosphere. Beds were comfortable!
The rooftop accessible to the public made it feel a lot less safe and private and luxury. The shower pressure was terrible. Street noise was very loud in room.
