Although we had to leave before breakfast usually starts, they gave us smaller breakfast bags with some basics. That was great. Also, the transfer was reliable. We followed the instructions how to find it and we managed without much hassle - there were other transfer busses for other hotels coming to the same spot.
The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable for a night stay.
We were returned the money safety deposit right after check-out, which was great.
The transfer could be even more frequent, but I understand that this does probably not make sense. We saw that some other hotels did have more frequent transfers, but they were also more expensive.

Great location near airport. Very comfy beds. Quiet room
Found a long hair on the shower tile. Breakfast didn’t have bananas or cut up fruit.

Location
There is another Hampton Inn Newark in Elizabeth so we went there via Uber mistakenly and had to be shuttled back to this one. Very easy mistake to make. Wish they had some sort of food for people who arrive late in the day. The bar was closed by 10 PM.

It’s close to the airport and has plenty of parking space. Although I believe parking should be free.
The surroundings feel unsafe and unclean.
The staff are mostly respectful, but not all of them. My mom asked for honey and got an attitude. There were also two chatting in the bathroom behind the door and when opening it, they didn’t acknowledge someone needs space to pass.
The shuttles should be more frequent and wait longer at the airport, because to figure out which shuttle one must hop on, you might miss one with those heavy luggage.
