Location was great, quick 10 min walk to the Path station. Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very friendly, quick and accommodating with fresh towels and a room change upon check-in when the door to the room we were assigned did not lock properly. They gave us easy directions and tips for our stay. Had our roll-away prepared for us as requested. Even allowed us to keep our vehicle there after check-out and held our luggage for us while we finished out our day in the city. Would definitely return due to the exceptional service but wouldn't bring anything needing to be kept cold unless you want to keep it on ice.
Only three drawbacks 1. The breakfast; very limited selection and muffins were stale. Coffee was decent enough and had a few fruits and yogurts available. Enough to get your day started. 2. The mini fridge did not work properly and when this was brought to the attention of staff they did not offer to replace or repair it, just said that it was working as it should, but with nothing in it all day long on the coldest setting it was not cold at all by evening. Had to keep putting fresh ice in the cooler we brought with us (daily, which was a pain) just to keep the snacks we brought cold. The mini fridge kept a few drinks slightly cool but was not sufficient for a yogurt or a sandwich. 3. No elevators, which can make getting luggage up and down difficult. On our way out, the manager did help us carry out one suitcase which was helpful! These were all minor inconveniences however and would not deter us from staying again.

Our stay was really good. To be honest there's nothing we can complain about. The location was Perfect- a pleasant and short walk from two different PATH stations. The walk by the river is also a really good option to have the whole Manhattan at hand. The hotel room had everything we needed during our stay. There was a typical American interior decor and equippment. It was very neat and tidy, cleaned every other day. Sweet breakfast served from an early morning, coffee and tea available all day long. They let us leave our luggage after the check-out which was super nice. A small thing for them was a game changer for us, as we were leaving the airport at 11 p.m. If we ever come back to NYC, we'll definitely stay at Holland Hotel.
There're only two small tables in the lobby for people the have their breakfast, the hotel is quite big. There's plenty of space to sit outside, however, we were there in December so it was to cold to use this area.
