Disappointing
We stayed in a room located on the basement level, which was only accessible by stairs. This made it inconvenient with heavy luggage. The room itself felt dated, not very spacious, and the beds were smaller than expected — definitely not standard double beds. The walls are thin (drywall), so we could clearly hear noise from neighboring rooms, even during the night, which affected our sleep. On the positive side, the reception staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Parking was excellent and easy to use. Within walking distance, there are several dining options and a large neighborhood mall, which was convenient. The hotel’s location is not very central, but since we had a car, it was manageable. Breakfast included fresh pastries, along with rolls, jams, and fruit, but seating was outdoors, which can be uncomfortable in rainy or cold weather.

Great price and location for NYC. Free parking amazing considering the proximity to Manhattan.
The manager was so helpful and friendly. I hope he gets a pay raise when the owners read this.

On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free parking is a big bonus in Jersey City. The location is convenient: a mall with dining options is nearby, and there are gas stations and fast-food places just around the corner.
The room with two queen beds was small but clean. However, the mattresses were quite worn — you could feel the springs in one of them, so replacing some beds would be a good idea. The toilet flush was also very loud and should be checked. Breakfast was typical for American hotels, but the room was tiny with only two tables — most people had to eat outside on the small terrace.

The property was kind of close to New York. And it was cheaper than getting hotel in the city, however I would rather pay more next time and stay in NY.
- The property is very dated.
- Our room was in the basement area, it was very noisy. The staff started talking and laughing very loudly at 6 am and woke us up. It was very inconsiderate and was not appropriate.
- There is no elevator and we had to carry our luggage by ourselves up and down the stairs.
- there was just one tiny bottle of shampoo in the shower area for two adults, which was not even refilled the next day
- the breakfast was minimal, just some croissants, apples and coffee. It’s in the corner next to reception, there is no space
- the room was not cheap, it was 250$ night and was not good value for money
