They cancelled my booking, without any prior notification and no explanation. Worst customer support. I had to book another hotel on that costing me double the price and my family had to sacrifice their travel experience because of them.

The Hyatt has a great location overlooking the Hudson River, and a really great location next to the PATH Exchange station. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed a good size and comfortable. Great for a couple of days in NYC.

The area the hotel is located is was breath taking. Being out in the Hudson kind of magical.
The area felt extremely safe.
We didn't get the room arrangements that I asked for.
Adjoining rooms was my request and that felt ignored.

Our room had an amazing view over the Hudson !! We loved the new decor, size of the rooms and all facilities.
I was very disappointed with the first receptionist we met on our arrival. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. When she could not provide me a roll away bed (as promised when I contacted customer services) she said it wasn't her problem and suggested I went elsewhere. NOT A GOOD ADVERT for the hotel. She then gave me a key card for a room that I found had another customers property inside, when I opened the door. When I returned to reception and spoke to another receptionist called Jeanine she was able to micralously find a room to accommodate myself and my 2 daughters, rather than 3 of us share one double bed. She was very helpful and friendly. Shame on the first receptionist who could have very easily ruined our first trip to the States!!!!!

The location and the room.
I was placed in a twin bed room without view although my booking and payment was for a king size room with view. After I complained I was then placed in the room that fitted my booking. But the experience left a sour impression.

Nearly all things were fantastic
It's not unusual in the city, but the parking was a few blocks away and if you left you would have to pay the daily rate each time, making you decide whether you're willing to pay indefinite amounts to go anywhere out of walking range or to use different transportation

The room was very clean and comfortable. The window faced the harbor, offering a beautiful and open view—especially stunning in the evening. The front desk staff were efficient, and the porter who helped with our luggage was incredibly friendly and polite. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended!
That said, there are a few areas for improvement. On the day of our check-out, we called to request assistance with our luggage but were told no staff were available at that time. This suggests a possible shortage of manpower during certain hours. Also, the soundproofing could be better—I could hear a baby crying and someone practicing the violin in a neighboring room, which affected the quietness of the stay.
