Great location right in Exchange Place and very close to the river. My suite was large and mostly comfortable. Very nice mattress and the shower worked well.
The biggest issue was the noise from the light rail/trolley. My room was directly above the station and the train whistles and other noises continued well into the night and early morning, meaning I did not get a solid night's sleep. Also, the sofa (a fold-out) was pretty uncomfortable for sitting and the TV's in both rooms were smaller than I am used it.

Option to book for three people per room. Complimentary breakfast with an outstanding view. The hotel is located in New Jersey, but is only one metro station away from Manhattan, so you had more space than if you had booked a hotel in Manhattan for the same price. the metro station is reachable by foot within minutes, however, its a different metro system called PATH which coste 3$ each way.
We booked a room for three people, so we expected the convertible sofa to be prepared in advance and not for us to arrive after a long flight to do all the work. The breakfast could be improved quality wise, however this might be the American standard..

The view in my room was horrible looking into office buildings. No parking included just horrible for that. It’s another added expense to have to pay 27 a day for parking.

Clearly, the rooftop offers an unbeatable view of the skyline, and the location—with the subway right in front of the hotel—is excellent. The staff is also very friendly. It only takes about 25 minutes by subway to get from the hotel to Manhattan, which is a big advantage. I recommend it 200%.
The main reason we chose this establishment was the spectacular view from the rooftop, which offers an amazing panorama of the Manhattan skyline. However, it was not open in the morning, which was quite disappointing.

This hotel was perfectly located for a 7-night stay with my husband and 2 kids for a visit to the Big Apple. From the hotel, it's just a 2 minute walk to the PATH train station 'Exchange Place'. The train goes every 7 minutes from Exchange Place in to the Oculus World Trade Centre station in downtown Manhattan. The journey takes just 5 minutes and costs under $3 each way. Our family room was spacious, very comfortable came equipped with a microwave and fridge/freezer. I personally think that the view of Manhattan skyline from Exchange Place is better than any other! We enjoyed it every day from our hotel at breakfast, when heading out, and in the evenings from the open air rooftop bar/restaurant. Spectacular. The PATH train also takes you in to midtown 33rd Street, so I don't understand why you'd pay 50% more to stay in cramped room in Manhattan looking straight out on to an office building!
The breakfast is perfectly fine but not varied enough for a 7-night stay - we got quite fed up after day 4/5! I appreciate most guests don't stay as long as us. It's functional and has all the basics (scrambled eggs, hash browns, bagels, cream cheese, cereals etc). It would have been nice to have some variance, but it was complimentary so I shouldn't complain!

Disappointing
Location is perfect. Easy to get quickly to Manhattan, central location with many options around to eat, walk etc
Uncomfortable sofa bed, extremely loud if you have windows from the tram side. The tram has been running since early morning, and it passes right by the hotel. It gives a signal at the crossing, which is quite loud.
Breakfast is the biggest disappointment. Uneatable. No choice, no fresh bread, no vegetables, coffee from thermos in paper cup. Catastrophic
