I slept really well - the bed was so comfortable
The check-in was very late in the day - 4 pm. For someone visiting from out of town, who has plans to spend the day in Manhattan or anywhere exploring around the city, this means you probably won't get to check in until the end of the day.

Extremely noisy when facing the tram line
Personnel at the counter including the manager were not friendly, not listening to my concerns about the noise, yet the room more than $400 a night.

My room was directly beside the light rail; trains passed frequently through the night and again early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep. Parking is $25 per night plus $4.63 sales tax. Street and nearby-business parking are not available, and the nearby fast-food restaurant either has no parking or does not allow waiting to pick up orders, so we had to have food delivered. This location is not ideal for guests traveling by car.

Just getting ready to drift off to sleep and it like a spotlight was shining in my face. Open my eyes and it the light from the smoke detector which for some reason was installed directly above the bed. The person who installed that obviously was never going to be sleeping there.
