the building is right next to the Hudson River with stunning views of NYC. You can just walk outside and enjoy the skyline. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who loves scenery and quiet walks by the water. The only downside is that the hotel itself is tucked away inside a plaza, which made it a little confusing to find at first. Other than that, the location is fantastic.
I felt like I was walking into a good-quality hotel. check-in was a breeze and everything seemed fine at first. But they charge $18 for parking, which is understandable, however it wasn’t disclosed clearly on the booking page. Also, guests are required to park specifically on the 3rd floor of the garage.
Now the worst part: the bed. The mattress was completely dead. I’m 170 lbs and as soon as I laid down, it just sank like a hammock. It gave zero support and made it really hard to get comfortable or sleep well.
Also, I don’t think the blanket was changed... I found several brown dried stains on it. Like, hard crusty stain. I don’t even want to guess what it was, but it definitely didn’t feel clean or sanitized.
