The view and the location. It was near everything.
The breakfast. The bagel was very dry and crumbly. The cream cheese & yogurt didnt taste well. Not much of a selection. With the amount to stay there would have thought the food would be better.

I had an early Dr appointment and they were in the same parking lot.
With the time change it was already dark when I arrived. There was a small lot by the entrance that was well lit but full. There wasn't enough lighting outside this area so until it was light the next morning I didn't know where to park.
I used a debit card for the $100. deposit and was told it would be refunded at checkout. When I checked out and asked about the return of my deposit they told me it would take 7 to 10 business days before my money would be returned.

We booked this location so that we would be close to NYC and have some privacy. The view on the city is really beautiful and the room are spacious. Though next time we won't include balcony for extra money as at the end we didn't use it at all haha
Also, a really good side is that bus for the city (n.158) is really close and there's next to the hotel a market place with few restaurants and a shop for groceries which is really great considering tha the city is big:)
We are from Europe (Croatia), but didn't except such a difference for price and what do you get. I wonder hows the difference then form NJ vs. NYC neighbourhoods
Towels, shampoos, everything you can get without a problem, but a little more diversity for breakfast should be included for the price. You won't have continental/European breakfast - but have realised that this is common to all hotels when I was looking an accomodation for NYC.

Location was great--along the Hudson River.
We were VERY disappointed that the room we reserved was not available, and we had to take a room with much fewer amenities, especially the ones we most desired. We reserved a really nice room (a very rare splurge for a special occasion--my wife's birthday and her return from a 2-week trip). They had even called to confirm the reservation we made for that room 2 days before our arrival date. Yet we arrive and the room we were very excited for was not available! We were offered a downgraded room without the main special amenities we looked forward to (balcony facing the river, hot tub, much more space and others). This was very poor service, and the response, though not rude, was minimal.
