The location
The exit doors where not locked at night. The bed was off the frame and the bathroom was dirty. Toilet would not flush and light bulbs burnt out. Dirty mirrors and furniture. The outside of the hotel was littered with trash and other guests smoking pot

Pleasant
Easily accessed, wifi worked, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable and clean, curtains were clean and relatively new (not always the case) heater worked well.
Toilet tank ran all of the time, one of the stairwells was dirty and in serious need of repair and carpet cleaning. Carpet in room had some spots.

The mattress and towels were very soft.
The heater fan didn't turn off. A lamp was broke. Tub and sink could use replacement, old and chipped.

I did like that the rooms and facilities were clean
It was -35 in Helena, and our room was ice cold, and half the lights didn't work. We turned on the heater in the room full blast at the highest heat it could go, and it wasn't very warm. It was so cold that the sheets and floor were icy. I asked the front desk if we could move rooms to one that was warmer, but the front desk attendant said they didn't heat any of their rooms, and he seemed like he didn't care. In the morning, when we ate breakfast, several of the food items were past the expiration date.

Was quiet.
Shower mold. Missing hand & washcloth. Window screen damaged. One bed lamp fails. Pretty disappointed compared to the super 8 stay at Butte, Mt for about the same price. Substandard.

The place as it is in good location...near in everything. The staff is accomodating
The room smells smoke, although we stayed in a non-smoking room. It's not so clean. The lobby is not so inviting to stay.
