Breakfast was good for free, had eggs, sausage patties and sausage gravy with biscuits. Waffle maker etc. Staff was pleasant. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again.

Disappointing
The breakfast was above par with waffles, fried eggs and meat, cereal, toast, oranges, apples, (we were too late to get a banana) and juices and coffee. My wife got an old, off-tasting hard boiled egg. There were no shortages except for bananas. The facility is quite new and kept clean.
We had a reservation and arrived at check-in at about 8:10 pm after traveling 650 miles. Much to my chagrin there was no one at the desk for check-in, but there was a sign saying "If you need help, call this number, which I did." The phone on the unoccupied desk in front of me began ringing and continued until I got a message, "Unable to complete this call. Hang up and call *619". Being told to call an unoccupied desk in front of me was insulting. Calling "*619" resulted in more delay ending without any response! I was frustrated and, was ready to leave, but knowing that I'd be charged for the room if I did, it was a relief when an off-duty employee came to my rescue. Another negative is that the facilility advertises as "Comfort Inn Bozeman near University" which in Bozeman would be MSU. According to Google Maps, the "Comfort Inn near University" is 2 miles and a 48 minute walk to the Strand Student Center at MSU, hardly what most folks would call "near". They would consider it deceptive.

The staff was so helpful and patient.
My only complaint is we were one of the first rooms at the top of the stairs so we could hear the echos of people coming into the lobby and up the stairs in the middle of the night.
