The location could not have been better. It is generally a beautiful hotel. The staff were all very respectful and helpful. The food and bar longue were also great.
The roomed smelled like mold. We tried asking for housekeeping to bring up some air fresheners, but it did not change the odor. It was not a simple odor that could be cleaned away. It was a permeating smell of mold that would hit you in the face the moment you walked in the room. I understand that the lake and the rainy weather may have added to it, but I do not think having to deal with a moldy odor is worth paying nearly $600 a night. It made everything feel musty and dirty.

Whenever I called to ask a question before my stay, the hotel was very professional and answered my call in a friendly manner. Check in and check out was easy. I was glad to order room service. The food was exceptional. The shuttle to the concert I went to was awesome. The driver was very accommodating.
My overall experience was a great one.
