Location was great and hotel was clean.
We had 3 rooms. One room was on the 3rd floor. There was a party in the ball room until 1 am. The music was extremely loud. I called to get moved to another room but there wasn't any available. Normally hotels quiet time is well before 1 am. When we asked for a partial refund for room, we were only going to be allowed to stay longer at no charge.

My stay at the Lord Baltimore Hotel was overall just “fine.” I mainly chose it because it’s a short walk to CFG Bank Arena, which was very convenient for an event, but otherwise the surrounding area isn’t great. Also, the photos online definitely make the hotel look more modern and luxurious than it actually feels in person.
The biggest frustration = parking. There are **NO FREE PARKING OPTIONS AT ALL.** Valet is $50/night or you can use nearby public garages. It’s not clearly communicated that there’s no on-site self-parking. The front desk points you to a garage “across the street,” but it’s still a bit of a walk and doesn’t feel ideal given the area. None of the garages had visible pricing, so you’re going in blind not knowing if it’ll cost more or less than valet. I booked through Booking.com, which listed “private parking,” so I assumed there would be a designated hotel lot. Definitely something management should clarify.
There also aren’t many included amenities. No breakfast is included, dining options are limited, and the bar is very small. I couldn’t even find a seat after the arena event let out. I had also seen reviews mentioning complimentary snacks or drinks, but that wasn’t offered during my stay. I also purchased an $8 pre-made turkey sandwich from the bistro, and it was extremely dry, with stale, crumbly (but somehow dense) bread... definitely not worth the price.
The room itself felt darker and less inviting than expected. Lighting was pretty limited and dim, which made the space feel a bit dull rather than comfortable or upscale. The shower water in the morning was only lukewarm, which was veryyy disappointing.
Another big inconvenience was the elevators. After events at the arena, wait times were extremely long (30+ minutes), and taking the stairs isn’t really an option since they only go to the third floor.
One thing that really affected me personally: the smoke detector was directly above the bed and had a bright light that lit up the bed all night. If you’re sensitive to light when sleeping, this could be a big issue.

The location from the CFG Bank Arena is a 5 minute to and from the hotel. The close location to the CFG Arena is why we reserved a room at this hotel. If it wasn't for the close distance from the CFG Arena we would have stayed elsewhere.
They allowed our 2 small dogs in the room. There's a $100 pet fee, but well worth it for those traveling with pets.
The hotel made it clear that they do NOT serve breakfast... Appreciate the fact that they made this clear as opposed to being unpleasantly surprised. Bottom line is to prepare accordingly!
The room smelled like old recycled air from the 1920's... It needed to be aired out... The staff attempted to mask the scent with air freshener...
The pillows were highly uncomfortable... Need new pillows!
The elevators are old and slow causing extra long waiting periods... Not great if you're in a hurry...
The stairs are not clearly marked and identified... Possible fire code and/or OSHA code violation perhaps.... ???

It was close to what I needed. The valet was very nice.
It was older. We had no heat in our room. They also checked us out before time even though we paid for late check out because they booked the place before checkin reservations.
