Disappointing
Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and professional. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants, the symphony hall, art museum, etc.
Overall, we were surprised that it was not a comfortable stay given the price and the overall good ratings here and on other websites. The problems were related to the structure of the building what felt like surprisingly low quality/worn out furniture and products. There was not good noise insulation, so we heard banging and loud noises from other parts of the building all through the night, making it difficult to sleep. The curtains were not as dark as usual hotel blackout curtains and there was a large gap around the room door. Many of the power outlets in the room did not work (like the ones that are built into the furniture didn't actually have power). The water pressure was weak. The building didn't have good ventilation and there were many stains on the hallway carpets. There was a very strong smell throughout the building, kind of like a strong cleaning agent used to mask a bad smell.

3. Desk should have been painted same color as wardrobe chest
4. No updated charging ports, however, one style was located on lamps

The staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a good ambience and decent food. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The hallway smelled a bit strange, and the water pressure in the shower was not great. Also, while there is a Keurig machine in the room, it would have been great if there were a kettle, too.

I loved the property. I didn’t use the amenities as I was either out moving or in bed. The bar/grill called Poets was busy every time I left my room. Even if you’re not staying just go check it out.
I would only say is that anybody could grab your DoorDash/UberEats/etc order from the table if they wanted to.
