The halls smelled of cigarettes when this is supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel. The hallway carpets need to be replaced to cure this. The room safe was nonfunctional. The TV remote didn't work when we arrived. Checking thee remote when the room is serviced would only take a couple seconds before new customers arrive. Services were lacking; rooms were supposed to be serviced only every three days but this wasn't communicated and our room wasn't serviced until the fifth day and only after I requested it twice. When it was serviced, a poor job was done. The toilet paper wasn't replaced, the room wasn't vacuumed, . . . When I complained about being charged the safe fee when I was checking out I had to wait a half hour to get this resolved. Service at the front desk wad mixed. One employee in particular was very rude to me. The breakfast was a joke. The only thing it lived up to was its proximity to the convention center.
