Very quaint, clean and comfortable. All staff members were exceptionally nice. The courtyard and patio were charmingly beautiful. The breakfast was very good and with excellent presentation. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The private whirlpool tub is why I booked this room originally….and I loved every minute of it! I will definitely be returning here♥️

Everything was perfect and I would most definitely stay again! Room was super cute and clean. Breakfast was delicious!
The only “negative” is that we need more syrup brought with the 4 pancakes for breakfast.

When you go in you feel like being back in the 1800's the furniture is beautiful. The staff is great and will go out of their way to help you. I can't say enough about this place. It's with walking distance to all the pier area.

I visited less than eight weeks after achilles surgery, and the two rooms I saw -- my original Senator's Room, which had a minor issue with the whirlpool filter -- and the upgraded Scholar's Room I was quickly given without having to ask, were both richly appointed and comfortable. The healthy, tasty breakfast was on point and served precisely at my requested time. The whirlpool in the Scholar's Room was so helpful. The enclosed grounds were stunning. Every staff member -- everyone -- made me feel important during my visit.
Minor cosmetic flaws -- incorrect carpet placement and a loose screw on the Scholar's door lock, for example, or the small whirlpool fix needed in Senator's -- hint at understaffing issues. Again, I have nothing but praise for the staff I encountered. The parking lot, while close to the entrance, is unpaved and littered.
