Very Good
A cozy bed and breakfast with a lot of charm and personality. The accommodation is located close to the lake and offers a warm, family-like atmosphere. The host is especially welcoming and often available for a friendly chat during breakfast, which adds a very personal touch.
The originally and lovingly decorated Southern-style cottages create a unique ambiance with a distinctive New Orleans flair. This combination of character, hospitality, and individuality makes the stay particularly memorable.
Although the property is not located right in the city center, it still stands out thanks to its peaceful surroundings, special atmosphere, and the attentive hospitality. A charming place that leaves a lasting impression.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! It felt like we were staying with relatives! They even left cute Lil gifts on our bed! I will stay here everytime I come to Nola!! And there is an amazing restaurant that is a 45 second walk up the street. The beautiful beach (not a sand beach) is a 7 minute walk up the street. The king room was huge and gorgeous!! Great location! 10/10
That I couldn't stay longer...

Wonderful
Very private room and quiet property. Parking was always available and there were a few options to eat within walking distance. There were sodas and chips available on site and a continental breakfast that was convenient. Very clean and housekeeping every day which is rare nowadays.
I had thought the property would have a view or garden/patio. We like to sit outside in the morning/evening but the property is smack dab in the center of busy roads and parking lots for restaurants. We had a room at the back with a balcony that faced a parking lot and though it was not busy like the street out front it was not big enough to have a chair there. The lake is a short walk or car ride though so we were able to make do. The pillows weee also really thick and not very comfortable. It is a large house so you had to let the water run for several minutes before you could shower. Very minor issues however. The place is lovely.

Ruby and Peter are great hosts. The location outside the city is nice, quiet, but still easy to get to downtown. Ming's Restaurant next door has super good food. City Park with Cafe du Monde, Art Museum, and sculpture garden is first rate and 10 minutes away.

The hosts are very hospitable, friendly and informative. The location is in a good spot in the city, and the neighborhood is good too. Dining options nearby that are excellent. It feels like being at someone's house in the most wonderful way. The provided breakfast was free, delicious, and helped save a lot of money for me. I have been recommending this place to everyone that cares to hear about it within New Orleans and outside of it.

Most comfortable stay, everything was so nice. They always had plenty of food for breakfast and coffee anytime I wanted. Just above what we expected. They really made us feel welcomed. It was close enough to the things we wanted to do but not in the middle of the noise downtown.
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay except it was too short.

**A Home Away From Home During Mardi Gras**
Peter and Ruby are exceptional hosts who made our Mardi Gras stay truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, their genuine warmth and hospitality made us feel like part of the family rather than just guests.
They went above and beyond to attend to everyone's needs, creating a welcoming and safe environment that felt like a second home. During such a busy and festive time, their bed and breakfast was a peaceful haven where we felt completely taken care of.
If you're looking for hosts who truly care about their guests and create a memorable experience, we cannot recommend Peter and Ruby highly enough. We'll definitely be back!
