I liked the general location of hotel as it was near the French quarter but not in the middle.
I didnt like how the room window opened right on to the street and there was no curtain to obscure the view into the room. This caused a situation where you needed to have blackout curtains closed or else people from the street could see directly into the room

The location was perfect in the French quarter
That theyre restaurant/caf was being redone at the time of our stay but that really didnt affect our stay at all because there were so many restaurants around it and they were open 24 hours

Love the location, and the front desk staff was incredible! So friendly and helpful.
The door to the room didnt easily shut, so if you didnt physically shove it, it wouldnt latch. This really didnt feel safe. There also wasnt a secondary lock, so you had to just trust it would close.
It was also very noisy in the hallway, with doors slamming constantly.

The spaciousness of the room and the friendliness of the front desk persons.
We would have liked to have had a refrigerator and/or microwave in our room. Breakfast or a fruit bowl would have been great.

Swimming pool and on site parking.
The bar and kitchen were still not open. New owners painted everything white and took away the period artwork. Too bland and impersonal.
No ceiling fan in our room or complimentary coffee in the lobby. Worse, no Saints decorations anywhere as the previous 30 years we stayed tiger.

The perfect location, so close to everything. Loved the style of the building. The staff were super friendly. Bathroom/showers fantastic. Bed very comfortable!
The doors banged shut making it quite noisy. Some loud guests coming in early in the morning.

The location is excellent. Walk to most French Quarter attractions. A cheap Uber to the Superdome.
No breakfast. Not even coffee. A lot of street noise. I would avoid having a ground floor outside window if possible.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a very charming hotel in the French Quarter within walking distance to everything.
There is no lobby/pool bathroom. You have to go up to your room if you gotta go
