The hotel is stunning and in a great location. You can walk to the French Quarter or the street car stop only a block away. We really appreciated how nice the staff was as well. The breakfast was also quite nice.
We'll give them some leeway as we arrived the Monday before Mardi Gras. However there was a wet spot by the bed, the cabinet under the TV had some damage, there was sticky on the drawers, and the vanity light never came on. All in all minor things, but a few of them.

The property was super close to bourbon. It was clean and quiet.
The water for the shower wouldn’t get as hot as I like it. It was lukewarm and uncomfortable. On Sundays breakfast didn’t start until 7am. I had to leave the hotel by 6:50 to make my bus on time. It would have been nice to have breakfast before we left.

Location. Exterior and lobby are nice.
Service was below average and did not meet expectations for the price. It’s the little things that make or break a hotel, and they failed at all of those. Bad coffee. Mediocre bar with inattentive service. Uninformed personnel at the desk. Not replacing bottles of water when room was serviced.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing, mainly because the staff were consistently rude and unwilling to listen when problems came up. The front desk team seemed unprepared to handle basic guest issues and did not make any real effort to resolve concerns. Even though my reservation clearly included breakfast, I was repeatedly asked to pay an additional charge. I raised this multiple times with the front desk manager, Ms. Stacey, but the issue was never properly addressed—she did not appear to know the breakfast pricing details or how to ensure her staff stopped trying to charge us incorrectly.
Housekeeping was also far below expectations. The room was not properly cleaned; most days it felt like they only made the bed quickly. The bed sheets and towels were not changed unless we specifically requested it, and we had to remind staff repeatedly to replace them.
The breakfast service was another major problem. The breakfast staff were not attentive or cooperative, and the wait time was extremely long—often around an hour for food to be prepared. This caused ongoing delays and made me late to important meetings.
Overall, the hotel was not worth the price. Between the poor service, lack of customer support, inconsistent housekeeping, and the breakfast billing confusion, it was a frustrating stay and I would not recommend it.

Very disappointed in the way our bill was handled. We paid $30 per person for breakfast/brunch and the hotel insisted on charging us an additional $26! The hotel didn’t even have their Sunday brunch so we actually should have received a credit!

The property was amazing, and I enjoyed the tradition of pb&j at night. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very nice!
It was a little far from Jackson Square, but not terribly so. We were also told brunch was from 11-2, but when we tried to go at 12, we were told it was over.
