Very Poor
Looked nothing like the photos, was basically a boarding house, zero water pressure, room was dirty and had a very stale smell, house keeping did NOTHING not even change the sheets. They literally made our bed without changing the sheets and didn’t clean the bathroom.
Nasty and misleading

It’s very clean. The pool is beautiful. The staff is nice. The location is great. We walked basically everywhere in the French Quarter. The price was very good.
If you get any of the lower rooms like 115 through 120, there’s a large back gate door that is very heavy and very loud and you hear it slam from your room all day and all night. The hot tub does not work.

The location is perfect: close to the French quarter and even closer to Frenchman St.
The staff was friendly and helpful
The rooms feel run down and really small (hardly space to hang things and open your luggage). Only one side of the bed had a lamp and outlets.
The toilet didn’t flush properly. Sound travels so it depends on the other guests if you will have noise or calm.

Great location between French Quarter restaurants and Frenchman Street bars. Very walkable. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Cool property with a fish pond and pool/hot tub in the middle. This is an older building, so expect some rooms to be smaller and to experience the sights/sounds/smells in common areas, but the rooms were appropriately modernized. The ladies who worked the front desk were kind and convivial, instantly making you feel welcome. Water pressure was rather poor which is a tough combination in tandem with soft water.
I amended my reservation about 2 months prior to arrival to add on a 3rd night and while that was all well and good, it seems management hadn't updated their manifest so I got a frantic and curt message from the front desk saying I need to check out NOW and I'll be fined for overstaying. I called and the lady told me the manager was needing to turn the room over. I insisted that I had paid for three nights and could produce the documents. While on the phone, she looked into it and confirmed that yes, I had secured a third night and I just needed to get new keys for the room since mine had been deactivated. We went back mid afternoon to get keys and popped in the room to use the bathroom and change as the day had warmed up. I think because housekeeping/maintenance thought the room was empty, a man just keyed into the room without knocking while we were in there and had just finished changing. In the end all worked out and we all shared a laugh, but I think management needs to do a better job of accurately communicating reservation information to the staff so guests don't need to experience the momentary panic when the front desk staff does what their management tells them. Also housekeeping and maintenance should be in the practice of knocking and announcing themselves.
Couple recommendations about the room: (1) Room 107 has a bathroom door with a window in it and thanks to the mirroring, you can fully watch someone use the bathroom. Not everyone who stays there is a solo traveler or couple, and even couples want some privacy! What a weird thing, perhaps consider a curtain or get a proper door. (2) If you're going to provide an in-room coffee maker, please have paper cups designed for hot beverages. There were just the thin individually wrapped plastic ones. Ended up going to the lobby for coffee and reusing my paper cup for an in-room refill after absolutely melting the bottom of a plastic cup (who wants to drink that anyway?)

The bed was very comfortable and the pool was wonderful. It’s also a fabulous location if you like to go to Frenchman Street and hear music.
They were very understaffed. The staff that they had was very nice however, they should not fill all the rooms if they can’t clean them and have people check in on time and have coffee in the morning and other things that are supposed to be in place because they don’t have enough staff available. It’s also a very old property which I tend to like, but this one was pretty worn out.

Very Good
The room was great, the staff very friendly and accommodating, the location was perfect for accessing the trolly line and the French market, and lots of wonderful bars and places to eat. The pool area is very nice but know up front the the sitting pool adjacent the main is not a spa it is the same temp as the pool.
No refrigerator, no chairs, and the bathroom layout left little room to squeeze by the vanity to access the toilet and shower

Location
Was tricked by the website, which showed nice looking rooms with classic lush exteriors/interiors. Turns out the 'Hotel' is four different buildings on two different streets. I assume we got the crappiest building. Check-in clerk was harsh and unhelpful. She did not even show us which building our room was in! Not sure what her problem was that day. She told me parking would cost $40 a day (your website advertises discounted parking) though we did not need it as there was always parking right in front of the building we were stuck in. Of course, no bellman or cart was offered to assist us with our luggage. We are elderly and walked through the main property carrying bags several times until I ran into a helpful staffer (Russia was her name) who led me to our room, in another building across the street! We would never have found it since it was down a narrow corridor between two buildings with the room invisible from the street. The cramped ancient room did not have a queen bed as advertised. It was across the street from the swimming pool, sitting areas etc. so nothing like the photos online Poor weather stripping around the front door let the wind blow in at night and daylight beamed in at morning. No fridge/microwave. No safe. No chair. Unusable internet bad Wi-Fi. Then to make our stay more dreadful, at 4:45AM the Fire Alarm went off, scaring the Hell out of my wife and me. Loud screeching alarm and bright flashing light for about a minute, then stopped. We were sleeping deeply and we had a full day planned with friends staying in the Garden District. Of course we were too shaken to fall back asleep after that terrifying alarm, resulting in us dragging ourselves around the 'Quarter on little sleep that day. I wanted to check into another hotel but was told I would forfeit my Booking fee. I still want a refund, partial or the entire amount. We did not enjoy anything about our stay at this 'Hotel'.

The location was nice
This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this hotel when the hot tub wasn't working. I live in town, and that's all i wanted - a working hot tub. The lights flickered a bunch, and the sound went out on the tv. The room was also just a king bed with only enough room to walk around the bed. The door didn't even open all the way. We ended up just going home after watching Hocus Pocus and finding out that the hot tub was broken.

Wonderful
Coming out of your room into the courtyard where the pool and a fountain is, very beautiful! The bathroom was clean and modern, the bed was comfy and clean! Had a gorgeous lobby also!
The only thing I didn’t care for was the parking situation. Wasn’t aware that you had to pay $40 for parking and the parking lot wasn’t on property ( but understandable because the layout of the neighborhood, it’s historic and close quarters). Didn’t feel exactly safe if you had to walk from the lot to the hotel at night or something. But it was only like a 30 second walk which I didn’t mind, just wasn’t aware when we booked, maybe I overlooked it somehow.
