Convenient to the street car and quiet.
Cleaning was fair. The staff “cleaned,” but not thoroughly. The hallway smelled and there was a hairball in our shower all week that did not belong to us. We were there for 7 nights and we expected our sheets to be changed at least once. They weren’t. There was hair in the towels. The breakfast was decent on the weekend, but during the week, it was terrible. Watered down juice, no coffee, stale bread, and food was not restocked. Watery oatmeal, no yogurt, or eggs. Very disappointing. There were water main breaks and a request to boil water all over the city, but they would not offer us bottled water. I expect more from a Hilton property.

Due to Mardi gras parade we were blocked from entering the regular route. When we called the hotel for directions they told us to come in back street, not much help. Then when finally found the way up a one way street the wrong way and was very tired the reception lady was mildly friendly.
