Andy at the front desk is fabulous. She is full of information in adventures as well as the history of the house and New Orleans. The location was excellent. 1 block from cable cars in between the Garden District and French Quarters. Food nearby & a drug store. The main house was nice. The parking is a lot right next door, which makes it easy. The lot is light up at night with a security camera.
The breakfast hours were later than our party could participate in breakfast. The king bed in the 3rd front suite needs some attention. One side (closest to the bathroom) is not supported properly.

What I love about the property was its historic value. Our guest house was like stepping back into time. The grounds & landscaping, the furniture, the architect here was very authentic. The colors were so rich & classic on the property that words cannot describe it. The experience was just so enjoyable. This experience for us spoke to our soul & spirit.
What we didnt like about the property was NOTHING AT ALL

The property had that New Orleans charm. The first night we arrived our room was unbearably hot due to the A/C not seeming to work properly and the fan not turning on but Keith at the front desk was super nice and gave us a better room the next morning.

rooms are very quaint and antebellum. antique furniture throughout.
the bed was sat on rubber mats of some sort and one of the legs were imbeded into the floor. rain came pouring in thru the window sill so much that everything was soaked and i was scared to unplug my wall charger. rain was washing right over the outlet.

We stayed here back in late May. The staff were fantastic, friendly and welcoming. Annie was lovely greeting us each morning for breakfast. The location is great, easy walking distance to the gardens district, WWII museum, restaurants, cafes and not far to the French Quarter either. Free carparking is also a welcome addition. This guesthouse has a wonderful New Orleans feel and felt like being part of a family during our stay. We would stay here again :)
The window mounted aircon was a bit noisy but did keep the room cool and comfortable.

Very old, but with historic ties.
We stayed three nights, and had breakfast at the same table each morning. The crumbs from our first breakfast were still there two mornings later. An adjoining table had exactly the same pieces of left over breakfast for the three days. So not an exactly a good rating for cleanliness.

Staff was super friendly and talkative. Property was nice and inviting. free parking lot was safe and a bonus.
Breakfast was lacking in choices but the mini egg quiche was really good. The AC was struggling to keep the living area of the suite cool and the gap in the door to the balcony should be fixed as to not let so much heat inside.

Loved how homey it felt. The banana courtyard was so cute and colorful.
Would have liked some covers and our shower did start to clog a little bit by the second day.
