We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the St Charles Inn. The location in the Garden District worked well for us. Free parking was a great benefit. We walked to the French Quarter multiple times and could easily drive in and out to see other sites in the area. Very dog-friendly establishment. Lovely, well-appointed rooms. We would love to stay here again.
Had some noisy neighbors who came in late at night. Not the hotel's fault, but it was annoying.

The bed and sheets very good
I felt insulted paying over 70/night
chairs in the room were so disgusting I had to put towel over them carpet disgusting too

Street Car Stop a block away with easy access to and from French Quarter
Enjoyed the onsite restaurant and bar.

Wonderful
Every interaction with hotel employees was wonderful. We were cruise ship passengers staying over night in NOLA to wait out the storm before driving home. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The attached restaurant was also amazing. Would definitely stay again. The pricing was also great.
Walls are very thin.

Good location - hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and private parking lot was a nice feature.
Breakfast was horrible. Coffee was weak and bagels were stale. Some decent coffee and fresh bagels would have changed this experience c ompletely.

The location to the streetcar for downtown transportation was right outside the hotel. All staff members were professional and fulfilled all requests.
Only able to park one car in the lot per hotel room so we had to park one on the street.

The hotel is really nice and comfortable. Beautiful facilities, clean and easy to get the street car to French Quarter.
The AC is really noisy. It was really hard to sleep.

The advertised parking was full and you had to park on the street to check in. The satellite parking was not close and they did not offer a valet to park your car. You had to walk back to the hotel. I had requested rooms on the first floor as I have trouble walking very far or climbing stairs. The said they did not have rooms on the first floor. It seemed like they had trouble finding my reservations even with my confirmation in hand. Their only elevator was broken. It seemed like it was so much trouble for them to give me a room on the second floor instead of the third floor. The stairs were steep and difficult. It took at least a half hour to check in. When I finally got to the room it was very nice but the bathroom was infinitesimal. And that is not an exaggeration. One person at the front desk was nice and tried to help but the other who was actually checking us in did not seem to know how to do her job at all. I feel like we should have gotten at least a partial refund. Will not use this place again.

The front young lady was super friendly and informative. The breakfast was sufficient. The gated parking was a plus. The street car front of the hotel was very convenient.
The Superior Grill Mexican Restaurant overpriced.
