The staff are excellent. Sophia was a babe who couldn't do enough for you
My bed, it wasn't comfortable and it rocked all over the place and squeaked louder than my snoring had a better nip on the floor of the cinema room lol but that's said a great hostel

I arrived very late (3am) due to train delays, and there was no problem to check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free luggage storage.
There were no sockets, by the bed.

Location, vibe, people and staff.
Though it was clean, the design of bathrooms were quite inconvenient. The hostel could be too noisy sometimes. Cancellation policy is not that flexible.

The team is amazing, very welcoming, happy to help. They are perfect.
I stayed 6 nights and slept only a few hours per night because of the worst beds I have ever seen in my life. I have traveled a lot and seen a lot of hostels. Guys you need to change asap your beds. They are so noisy it's just hell. I dare you sleeping in dorm N°4 for just one night. Please do it. At 4 people. The next day you will order the new beds.

Extremely convenient location for the parades in Mardi Gras.
Two things that bothered me and made my stay a bit less awesome - they played music all day long inside and outside. So when you’re sitting on the porch you’re being forced to listen to music. The other thing, and this is a really big one because I am a very light sleeper, their metal double bunk beds are extremely squeaky so when anyone moves in their sleep or changes position, it is LOUD and wakes me up. I must have woken up 20 times in one night. It’s a great value but this is one thing that will keep me away from this place. If I can’t get decent sleep I will have to find someplace else. I was told that the building they own next door has really nice solid wooden bunk beds. Perhaps they can invest in those for the entire property. Maybe the owners need to try to spend a night in the dorms with the metal bunks and see how disturbing it is.
