staff very nice, good room, cosy, two offer drinks
no cleaning prestation (for $400 per night I think it is the minimum), no refreshment, no amenenties, very small breakfast room with only two persond to refueling, only medium roast coffee, medium quality.

We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and enjoyed a few drinks at the night time bar. Our room had beautiful views of the city, and was overall a quiet room. The bed and couch were comfortable, and we definitely used the very handy fridge and microwave. The location was perfect and pretty much center to the main attractions. We used the Ventra bus passes to get around the city, to China Town, to the zoo, Navy Pier, and enjoyed walking to the local restaurants and coffee shops and even enjoyed a movie at the theater in the 37 Block mall, which was a very cool experience. Amazing stay in Chicago and grateful for the convenient couple block walk from the Amtrak Train station. We also loved the friendly staff at the La Quinta and appreciated that the La Quinta offers to hold your travel bags before checking into your room, as well as storing your bags after checking out, so you can enjoy the city a little more before heading home.
There really was not much we didn't like. The only thing we would suggest would be to have a little more toilet paper available for those with longer stays. We requested multiple times on multiple days and did not receive any toilet paper until after 2 days of requesting. We eventually bought our own toilet paper.

I really like the location, cleaness of the hotel and staff. Breakfast is ok but could be better.
The room 529 have a vent that was very noisy. Don't know if it was of the AC, because I turned it off and the noise still continue all day and night.
A month ago I stayed at this hotel and don't remember the room had that issue.
