The place is very close to Willis tower and downtown.
I almost fell, someone poured water on the elevator and hallway, there were 3 staff at the front desk and Jon took the initiative to mob. They said there was no cleaner and had to wait. Imagine if I had fallen. I agree that. The only people that were friendly were the ladies in the kitchen. They kept asking if I needed more things and if I was enjoying my stay. The front desk people stuck

The location, breakfast was great, the free drink vouchers were nice for the bar inside.
The morning and day staff were rude and snippy. I didn't appreciate the attitude from the ladies working in the morning at the front desk. The lady who worked nights though was amazing! She made our check in seem less and had a great personality and was very kind. Day time staff needs to get it together and be talked to with their interactions with guests.

The location is great for us. In or next to the loop, walking distance to Union station and restaurants, longer walk to the Art Institute (and the concert hall) and a bit longer to the big park on the lake.
Our room was a bit smaller because it was opposite the elevators and the appurtenant waiting area. But adequate.

The location was very close to places of interest and mass transit and I arrived early and was able to check in early which I greatly appreciated.

Room was of ample size, breakfast room didn't feel too crowded, front desk personnel was kind and provided good service. Location is excellent, close to main attractions, public transit and Union Station.
In a time where any hotel is crazy expensive, this felt like good value.
My room (231) had a very noisy fan-like appliance, which was not related to the A/C, and that we couldn't turn off.
Breakfast lacked a bit of variety, like fruits, bacon, other kinds of bread/cereal.

Everything was amazing, except for the mattress in our room. It sank in the middle. It definitely needs to be changed. Other than the mattress not comfortable, everything was great! The staff, the location, the breakfast, all great!
The mattress in our King room needs to be changed. I don’t remember the room number now, but it was a King room on the 5th floor. Mattress sank in the middle so didn’t sleep well those nights. Other than that, everything else was awesome!
