Wonderful
Our room was beautiful: spacious and comfortable with excellent attention to soundproofing. Thick carpets in the hallway meant that we didn't hear lots of outside noise. There were lovely details in the room like a yoga mat and exercise bands, comfy bathrobes, etc. The design was great--nice fabrics, cool lamps, comfy bed, good shower. We had the "included" breakfast which was actually a credit at their restaurant. We stayed four days and got to know the servers, who were delightful and kind. The breakfasts were SO good--attention to flavor, texture, and presentation. Best of all the staff was cheery, kind, and quirky, and we loved walking in or out because of those personable interactions. We felt like we were home--only people were taking care of our every need.
There was only one elevator up and running so sometimes it was a little slow to get up or downstairs. We occasionally took the stairs to and from our room on floor eight, and the stairs are super narrow. But they're working on that second elevator, so this is, I am sure a temporary issue.

Beautiful little gem of a hotel tucked in by the River and just off Michigan. Convenient location, extremely friendly and competent staff, comfortable and clean rooms, good price.
One of two elevators were out of service which made our last night a bit inconvenient but really nothing major.

The doorman was a delight, the other staff were okay, just there. We loved the window seat.
The bottle in our shower said "hand wash" not "body wash" and the lotion pump barely worked. Those are minor details that didn't matter all that much. Just noticed them.

Very Good
The location was just excellent, right in the centre and very close to the main attractions. The room was really big and well equipped. I rally liked the complimentary coffee, which was available all day long.
I did not like the fact that breakfast wasn't included in the proce and it was really expensive.

The hotel was lovely. The room was nice and it was very clean. The location was excellent. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Only 1 elevator was working, so there was a little extra wait for that.

The ambiance of the lobby and the room was so pretty. I had a city view which really amplified the stay
They only had one elevator working. Other than that everything else was fantastic

Wonderful
Warmly decorated hotel featuring some beautiful furniture pieces and atmospheric lighting all in a cosy design vibe. Friendly welcome by reception.
Excellent location. One of the best beds I have slept in for a long time in a hotel. Spacious rooms.
Have a cocktail at the bar in their in house restaurant. They are to die for!
Room was a little noisy being located on the lower level but hey; it’s a city what can you say..and what a city!
