We were walking distance to Amtrak, the Lyric Opera, the Bean, Mich Ave. The hotel lobby is lovely with a wine pour late afternoon. The staff was friendly, pleasant. Pizza in the restaurant downstairs - OUTSTANDING

Loved the lobby area
Room didn’t feel as luxe as other Kimptons I’ve stayed at, and weren’t as nice as I was expecting given the lobby and the price. The room felt a little “plastic-y” - like I was in a cheaper hotel. Also there was hair in the shower that wasn’t cleaned.

The most rooms are really noise! 3 rooms next to each other and you can clearly hear what other rooms doing. No carpet outside your room as a 4 star hotel?? I have to upgrade to the room with tub - almost the price of a 5-star, then it's quieter and those will be located with carpet area. I forgot my book after check out, spent 20-25 mins to get connected to the right people and no feedback yet almost after 24 hours. Can not believe it!

No door for bathrooms, no water left everyday when housekeeping came in. It was dark
