We stayed at this hotel for four days and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is outstanding—very central and perfect for visiting Chicago’s main tourist attractions. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, and the service was consistently great throughout our stay. Breakfast was included every morning and offered a delicious and varied selection. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable location, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Chicago.

Wonderful
Breakfast was continually kept stocked and cleaned throughout the morning hours. Our room was comfortable with bed, pillows, and ample space. I liked the quality of the toiletry items provided. The guestroom had excellent lighting.
Our window blind nearest the bed was slightly out of tract allowing some light to enter the room, but not bad. Microwave in the room would have been nice.

The location
When I checked into my room it was very cold called down stairs to inform the staff about the problem I was told by maintenance it was nothing that they could do but bring me a blanket upstairs to my room and told me that they would put me in another room the next day I had to stay in the room and sleep in my clothes and my hat and scarf so the next day came informed the staff again about the issue that I was it four hours to put me in another room.

The man at the front desk was great, he was there almost our entire stay.
The location of the hotel was great
The rooms were very small, the pull out couch took up the entire walkway to the bathroom so the people on the bed couldn't even get to the bathroom.
The room was also not cleaned well, we found a eyelash on the bed pillow and a pacifier on the floor on the day of check in.

The location was great - very central and easy to get around the city with various means of public transit close to the hotel. Breakfast was adequate, but a little variation from day to day would help. There are highchairs available for infants/toddlers at breakfast, which is great. We had reserved a baby bed in advance, but upon arrival discovered it was not truly a baby bed, but actually a Pack-n-Play, which is still better than nothing.
Our very first interaction with the check-in staff was unpleasantly surprising, to say the least. We found the gentleman to be very unfriendly and actually annoyed with our questions (he very visibly sighed from what seemed to be exhaustion after the first question). We had just arrived from another hotel chain in a different city, where we were treated like kings and queens, and we were truly disappointed to be treated with such nonchalance upon arrival.

Location and lobby tables.
Staff when we checked seemed very bored, never smiled, and sped through the directions. Not a great first impression of Chicago.
There was awful noise from construction(?) in the middle of the night so our sleep was pretty poor. Can’t help that, but just bad luck on our part.

The breakfast was good and the front desk people were nice.
The TV’s were down for two days straight. The room got so cold the inside of the window frosted and the heater was supposedly on so I’m not sure how that happened. There was a lady during breakfast who was being kinda rude but other than her everyone else was nice.

Zero cleanliness in our room, could not even let my baby crawl on the floor. Carpet was extremely sticky, no napkins in room. As soon as I entered the room, it was stinky. Had to use an air freshener. Even the toilet seat was dirty upon our arrival

Walking distance to Millennium Park, Willis Tower, and CTA/Amtrak service. The lobby looks wonderful with friendly staff willing to hold onto luggage to use the restroom after check-in or explore the city after check-out (which saved me $20 for luggage storage elsewhere).
In addition to free breakfast, also free snacks (hopefully because no one questioned me) are provided in the corner room between the entrance and reception desk. That room has a microwave and disposable utensils like the breakfast room.
My room was nice as well. Comfortable bed and desk chair. Great bathroom with enough towels for two nights. No need for me to request room service.
The bathtub in my room has minor issues. I noticed the spout was dripping despite the handle closed all the way. It was causing noises but disappointing to see how much water is being wasted. I'm a guest so I didn't report unless it prevented me from showering. Also, when I adjusted spray settings on the shower head, it was difficult to move the selector ring and I ended up loosening the head from the pipe. I was able to tighten it, so no issue but needed extra grip to rotate the selector.
Most of the USB outlets were damaged, but again not a deal breaker since I have the AC adapters for charging. At least the ones on the alarm clock were good and the clock itself is functional.

The lady at the front desk was exceptional! We got to go to our room before actual check-in, which was nice because we had just gotten off the train!
The room didn't seem allll the way clean. Like there was some trash in the room and most of the toiletries weren't all the way stocked up, but the cleanliness overall wasn't bad!
