Had bedbugs. Didnt give my deposit back

Location is perfect for my needs. The price was great and a good value. I don't spend much time in the room when I'm in the area, so I don't want to pay a fortune to have a clean, comfortable space when I am there.
The breakfast did not meet expectations. I went to breakfast an hour before it closed. The eggs were gone. The attendant sat at a table conversing with someone the entire 30 minutes I stayed in the dining area, making no attempt to restock items. I made due with an apple and oatmeal I prepared in the microwave. The only other options were bread, pastries and dry cereal/milk. Small cups of yogurt would have been good. Although I didn't care for the room at the Holiday Inn Express down the street, their breakfast was much better.

That it's near the expressway.

I stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham Chicago and was extremely disappointed. I tried to pay using my company credit card, which I’ve used at other hotels in the same chain just days before, and they still refused. I even showed that I arrived in a clearly marked company truck, but they wouldn’t let me pay. They also wouldn’t let me talk to a manager to explain the situation, and because of that, I had to find another hotel even though I requested an extra day. On top of that, the room wasn’t in great shape — the chair seat was torn, the carpet was damaged, and it just didn’t feel fresh. Overall, a very frustrating experience.
