This hotel is central to attractions on International Drive, the Orange County Convention Center, Universal and Sea World. The staff were friendly and helpful and our bed was very comfortable. It was easy to find parking on the property, though it cost $29/day to self-park. We were able to easily access the convention center for MegaCon via the skybridge from the hotel.
We were unable to find a water bottle refill station in the hotel. The addition of one would be nice.

It is an older hotel, but everything felt fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the convenience to the convention center was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner there. The coffee in the coffee shop is very good. But the breakfast from kitchen adjacent to the convenience-like store was very good. Drinks and dinner at Jack's was excellent. My friend had the vegan filet and loved it. We both agreed it was a wonderful hotel selection and would be happy to stay there again.
We were only disappointed that the 39 Grill that is poolside was closed for a private party. But, it still worked out well for us.

breaksfast was ok, a bit on the expensive side for the selection that was available
I didn't like that I had to walk to another hotel to rent and pick up a rental car. I didn't like that the hot water took too long to make it to my room on average 10 mins of run time before hot water showed up. I didn't like the construction noise. - should have offered me to move. I didn't like that my Night stand Light did not work, and I had called it in the very first night. I stayed for 7 days, and it was never fixed.

The property was great for the con we went to.
The employees we interacted with were rude, and very short with us. They lady that did our check in openly mocked us about a card issue asking if we even had a card that worked or had money, the shower head was not clean, as was the pillows on the bed were not clean or well maintained. The room has black spots on the roof as well as bare silicone hanging off the ceiling.
