Absolutely stunning architecture and staff. Nothing but smiles and warm energy. The food options are remarkable as well. We Couldnt be happier with our experience at the Grand cypress resort.

To pay $30 for parking per night is ridiculous to be honest. Aftet all the resort fees you pay and taxes and tipping at the all their returants being included you would think you wouldn't have to pay for parking. If you had a security guard at night to watch the cars and say at the very least of anything is taken from the vehicles that they would be some what responsible then maybe it would make sense. Parking lot cleary says that they are not responsible for any loss or theft of vehicles. So no security in sight. I paid 30$ per night just for us to be able to park and no responsibility from the hotels part. Also when booking if breakfast is included be careful because they do not tell you based on the amount of people who show up to breakfast you will have to pay gratuities for the so called Waiters. They literally bring you coffe if you want coffee and then disappear and move on with waiter no where to be seen. You finally see waiter when they feel you are done and show up with the receipt without telling you gratuity is included. Even if it's just the buffet where you serve yourself. You just see waiter when being seated and then when it's time to pay the bill. I feel like they really aren't servicing you if they disappear after giving that one cup of coffee. Other than that the place is beautiful and I loved that we were able to ride bike, kayak and have other options to do around the resort. The arcade room is a little Rundown. Time has not been kimd to that area. For the arcade you will have to pay and purchase points or use money to play. It can use a little renovating. You don't really have to leave the resort because everything can be found right there. They have a gift shop downstairs that you can purchase toiletries, souvenirs, snacks, some swimsuits if you left yours at home. It is a little overpriced but any shop within a resort is going to be a little overpriced. So it's expected.
