Cleanliness, Everything refurbished. Hot shower, soft towels. Good variety of breakfast, mickey waffles, breakfast tacos, overnight oats, whipped butter and strawberry jam in the spread station. Hot breakfast selections with eggs, pork or chicken carnitas. Clean pool and hot tub. Entire hotel was clean or somebody was cleaning something everyday.
Hard beds, fussy a/c, only 1 elevator in working order with a max of 5 people. Only certain shuttle times to and from universal.

It’s close to Universal Studios, offers free parking, and the staff have a nice attitude.
The breakfast included in the room rate was average.
In the afternoon, the hotel offered some complimentary snacks in the breakfast area of the lobby, such as cheese, cookies, and vegetable salad, which was a nice touch, although we didn’t really have much of it.
The carpet in the room was very old, and upon close inspection, we found quite a bit of small trash in the gaps, including fingernail or toenail clippings left by previous guests.
The air conditioner was very noisy, seriously affecting our sleep.
The air circulation was poor. The room had a kitchen, and although we didn’t cook, we could smell the cooking from next door almost every night, which was very annoying.
We will not choose to stay here again.
