I have been there many times. I liked the pool and the room when I started going there.
The assumed 18.5% service charge for EVERY interaction you have in purchasing anything is insane. I went to Starbucks in the building, they got my order wrong by a long shot and blamed me for it, and the tip for that service was rolled in already. I went to the Thanksgiving dinner, which cost ~$80 per person, and I got sick with an immediate headache from the disgusting food. They over charged me $23 dollars for a massage, which came to $300, but they said it would $150. My wife had a veggie panini from The Market, which was gross and had no cheese (I never heard of a panini without cheese before) – the panini should have been labeled "vegan" in that case, and this is a typical example of how this establishment misleads its costumers. I am sad to have such a negative review, given that I have been going there for years and now see the decline into money-grabbing.

The property has a lot to offer. The staff was really nice and always polite. The location is good.
There was a really really strong odor of mildew in the second bedroom. The entire villa and the amenities seemed old and outdated. There were exorbitant fees at the calypso bar on top of the already high price of the food. The people on the bottom floor smoked cigarettes all day and night even though it’s supposed to be a smoke free property.
