It was clean, the rooms were very nice
I stayed there for a Memorial Day weekend softball tournament. Upon check in they told us pool was out of service and we could go 3 miles down the road to use there pool.. they gave me half of my deposit back($50), and kept my other half($50) because we had a “dirty towel”… I stay at hotels all the time and have never had this happen… I was told I needed to email management…I will never stay at there again …

They took a security deposit from me and they didn't refund it and when contacting them they said they refunded it and that the bank refused and I needed to file a dispute, upon contacting the bank i discovered that they did not make any refund.
I told them again to make a refund but they are refusing and all they are saying is to file a dispute but the bank said they can't file a dispute until they make a refund and it is refused
Take care of this they are scamming the people for money

I liked how close it was to our family we were visiting. The room was great for the price, it has all the basic needs for spending the night comfortably.
No plunger for the toilet so.... be careful with not getting it clogged

Breakfast, small minimal but sufficient.
1. Room cleaning once in two days.
2. They didn't clean once in two days cause they claimed that there was some item Of mine of the deb.
3. Wifi doesnt work.
4. The rooms lights didn't work upon arrival.

The bed was soft and the breakfast was good.
First of all the Pool was out of order and the first room the A/C was not working properly. The second room we were given the A/C was very noisy and the fan went in and out all night, it had sugar ants all over the sink area and desk and our door had a huge gap around the side and bottom. Will never stay at another Defender Inn.

Breakfast was over cooked and dry, not refilled often enough, only one waffle maker and had to wait almost 30 minutes to use it as any people cooking 5 and 6 waffles
Key for room constantly not working. Manybtrip to find staff to fix and then had to wait for them to come down. Lots of wasted time. Not enough staff in general. Said pool was under renos but didn't see anyone doing anything. Room was clean and confortable.

Then left to wait in the hot sun as key wouldn't work and staff was with other guests. Wifi had wrong password printed on instructions. Having to sign in on TV, scan QR code was a pain. Took several times to get it to work. No instructions or channels guide.

Very well maintained, comfortable beds and nicely renovated. Shower had good pressure and also there is a breakfast included which is handy.Lots of restaurants nearby and also closed to the Old Town. We really enjoyed our stay here and will 100% recommend to anyone. Also this place is close to the 192 ,but surprisingly quiet
