Disappointing
We stayed here a year ago same dates. Felt it was amazing for the price and decided to make this our yearly spot. The only issue we had previously was lack of towels and tissue. It’s spacious and in a nice community within distance to the park. It’s perfect because of the number of rooms and bathrooms.
This year we had the same lack of towels and tissue but I came prepared so it was fine. Communication lacked terribly. I messaged numerous times beforehand with no response especially since I was requesting early check in. I did not hear back until the day of two hours before to send my information over. We got to the gate and the guard would not allow us in so I had to reach out to the property management. It was embarrassing because the guard was not nice to us. The same thing happened with the second car though we literally told her we had two cars. We got in and left shortly and didn’t return until super late. We noticed the sheets and pillows were used or so old they were dingy. We took them off and found what ones that felt clean. The next morning we found dead bugs, dirty towels and toilets. I sent pictures to the property manager and he just never responded. A great price is not worth lack of communication or a gross environment. We will not be returning unfortunately due to this experience.

How close it was by stores
When we got there it wasn't very clean and something needed to be fix it only had two TVs in living room and in the main bedroom needs an update on furniture and appliances on the TVs there wasn't a lot to watch couldn't download no apps without code for tv.

Location was good, pool was nice when it was cleaned. For an older place it worked perfect.
Paid for early check in and was not able to get in early. Pool key did not work but was replaced. Coffee machine did not work. Towels were not clean. The porch was not accessible on either level.

Dirty Stove, Microwave, dog hair all over, live dog
fleas on the beds, couldn't use the back porch
due to filthy full of spider webs and dead bugs from
top to bottom on the sliding doors everything is
dated. Hair blower didn't work, window shades
didn't work properly all broken and the place smell
so bad that I got sick from the foul dog odor that
night. And all they brought was an empty can of
freshener and leave the windows open to try to
air the rooms. Very sad that you have to put your
name on place lake that and call it resort????
Who inspects these places aren't doin their job
and is not worth it to you and your company to
deal with garbage like that. Never again I'll book
any accommodations with your company, very
disappointed and felt robbed of my money.
I should get my money back seriously.

The house was right next to a playground if the kids wanted to go play.
The lock box was terribly difficult to open. Once we finally did get inside and got to our rooms there were dead bugs in one of them. After a couple hours the living room TV stopped working. We had to move the couch because my son dropped something and discovered a dead lizard, dead bugs, clumps of hair, bra padding and just overall filth behind there which made us uncomfortable sitting on it. The downstairs bathroom didn't work. We were displaced due to hurricane Milton and staying here was just an extra headache!

Non of the televisions worked, NO towels. No front desk to even ask for any. THE SERCURITY LADY WAS SO RUDE THIS TIME. JUST HORRIBLE THIS TIME.

It was large and clean.
Check in was a pain. Fire alarm beeped all night, notified office. Still beeping when we left. There was no courtesy coffee, paper towels, kitchen trash bags etc. Would be nice if they listed these things so you can bring your own.

After a very difficult situation with a different property, we chose Berkley Lake. Brandon was helpful and allowed us early access to the property.
The property allocated was not a representation of the unit shown in the pictures. There unit was extremely tired and was only surface clean. The fridge and oven were both damaged and the furniture was faded and worn, We were given 4 bath towels for a 2 1/2 bathroom property and there was no pool key. When we asked for this, it took 5 days for one to be delivered to us.

It is tired. The blinds have many missing pieces which leaves little privacy and no ability to keep out any light from the street lights or the sun in the mornings.
