Very decent hotel. Extending nights were a breeze here. Air fryer/microwave and full size fridge in room was an extra bonus. A/C blew really cold (much needed in Florida).My only three complaints: Had to pretty much beg for towels/housekeeping, the blinds in most rooms are damaged so people can walk past and peek inside your room, and roof was being reinstalled during my stay so it became a major discomfort/nuisance. Besides those three things Home 1 was pretty good to us. Also, the couple next to my room kept arguing but I think Hotel staff was able to get them to quiet down.
Construction during stay should’ve been conveyed to guest.

Lots of people hang out around the area, the rooms are just okay, beds are not comfortable, and could use an update, but those things can possibly be tolerated for a short time/stay, but the deal breaker was roaches were present in my room

Absolutely NOTHING.
The beds were old and nasty with springs sticking out. We didn’t even stay in the room for 15 minutes before we decided to go ahead and leave. We were going to spend the night at the hotel and start the drive back to Ohio the next day, but this place was so bad we just went ahead and drove straight back. I didn’t even care about getting refunded for my money. It was absolutely disgusting.

The price was okay.
When we checked in we had to do it through a plexiglass window while standing outside. When we got to our room the lights wouldn't work until we figured out which switch turned them on. There were only 2 working outlets in the whole room. The paint on the counter for the bathroom was chipping and looked like it had been scratched off. Also, there were 2 remotes to work the tv and they didnt even work most of the time. Outside on the breezeway the ceiling had a hole where you could see insulation and the wooden truss'. Also there was a very a pungent smell of marijuana. None of us slept as the whole experience made us very nervous and uncomfortable. Hind sight being 20/20 we probably shouldn't have stayed and just ate the $84 we had already spent. Lesson learned. Overall, it was an awful experience. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone!! The only positive thing was that the gentleman that checked us in was very personable and friendly!

I gave $100 for this reservation for the deposit and they never gave it back to me it seems like this is a recurring situation and booking.com is doing nothing about it to correct it and people are getting ripped off and these hotels are stealing money and they're not giving them back these hotels have bugs they're not clean and yet you keep booking people in these nasty hotels and saying that they are great value they're not even worth $5 a night that's how nasty it looks and it is to stay
I just told you in the previous box why I'm not happy and the fact that I have to go through this in order to inform you that you're booking bad hotels for your customers and they're not giving money back they're not giving the deposit back and if you leave a day early they're not refunding the day early money back and you are not refunding my money back and I'm very unhappy about this I feel like you and these hotels are stealing my money and you're not giving up back and we're forced to book under you in order to get reservation for hotels because there's no other choice I am not happy
