The motel was exactly as advertised. It was a no frills place to stop for the night. It was very clean. The front desk clerk was very nice and he was very helpful when we asked about places to see and eat.

I liked the price and that it was updated inside the room.
The first night, we locked the door and put on the chain. Thank goodness for the chain because when we woke up, the door was open. We told the staff about it and took a video to show the manager and packed up to switch rooms. He said no to switching rooms that the doors all do that you just have to slam them closed....

I was in Florida where we live in Ocala but wife was staying in Haines City caring for her grandmother. From our home it is 2.5 hours. I was only home for one night and then gone for two weeks. So I just booked a room there in Haines City so she would be close to Grandma and we could see each other and not have to wait 2 more weeks. And she did not have to drive 2.5 hours to Ocala and then 2.5 hours back to Grandma's
Would"ve loved to had a coffee maker in the room, but Racetrack was close by. But with that being said everything else was excellent Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great (just drove for 15 hours from Virginia ) plenty of hot water, complex was clean and quiet and the staff was great. ( Thank you Frank ) We would definitely stay again. Maybe a weekend get away.

Friendly staff
The room needed a deep cleaning. Would have gotten a better review if the room was clean. As others said the towels were dingy but I had brought my own. You get what you pay for, this room was one of the cheaper ones for the area so I wasn't expecting it to be great.
