We had a wonderful stay at Bahama Bay Resort. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was especially convenient, and having a private balcony was a great bonus.
The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely Caribbean-style atmosphere and great views of Lake Davenport. We really enjoyed having access to the pools, fitness center, sauna, clubhouse, and other resort amenities. The on-site dining options were also very convenient, and the Tradewinds area was especially nice.
The location was excellent for visiting the Orlando theme parks while still giving us a quiet and relaxing place to come back to after a busy day. The entire experience felt comfortable, well managed, and welcoming.

Location and the kitchen was well equipped.
Size of the rooms
The suite has uncomfortable odors likely caused by humidity. The carpet was old, dirty and stained.
The bathrooms were not well maintained. The carpet and furniture in the lobby of the hotel were filthy .

Clean. Pool conveniently located.
On line, 2 restaurants and 2 bars were advertised. Tradewinds looked like a nice restaurant, but the main building was closed...sign on front door said to go around back. The pool bar and a few covered tables were available with a limited bar menu. The other bar, Mangoes, located in the welcome center was closed "indefinitely" per the employee at the check in/out counter. Not as advertised. Also, unit needs soundproofing. The noise from the unit above us was quite loud. Not partying or anything, just the sound of walking was enough to wake us.

I didn’t like that the pictures I was shown for my room did not match the actual room. The beach/ pool area was being renovated so it was closed.

Big comfortable apartment with two screened porches. Furnishings are from the 90s but I found them charming and less worry about leaving everything perfect. Pool was great, very warm. Two hot tubs and a huge splash pad for the kids. The grounds are nice and the front desk is staffed if you have questions.
It was very hot and humid, so I would have preferred a colder pool. This pool would be awesome in cooler weather, though.

I liked the outdoor areas of the resort, especially the artificial beach with sand, the ping-pong table, and the playground. The exterior grounds were well maintained and family-friendly.
We really disliked the apartment. It was extremely dark, poorly oriented, and had large trees blocking all natural light. It felt very oppressive and honestly made me want to leave as soon as possible. From what I could see, all units seem to have the same issue with trees blocking the view and sunlight. The decor was outdated, furniture looked like it was from the 1980s, worn out, and the dark paint inside made the space feel even gloomier.

It was very clean, and affordable. It was a nice getaway spot and the staff was nice.
Although I'm not a smoker it was a limited to smoking areas, you couldn't bring small speakers to the pool areas, and there was no unlimited swimming, hours were limited.
