Location is wonderful and the staff was excellent and answering our questions and helping us check in and check out. The ski valet folks were also excellent.
Unfortunately, the hot tub did not work for the weekend while we were there which was problematic since that’s one of the most enjoyable things to do after skiing is sit in the hot tub. Also, there was no soap or shampoo or anything in our room when we checked in and had to ask for it, and ultimately had to go down to the front desk to ask again to get soap.
Also the air conditioning or fan system was incredibly loud and did not workin terms of cutting off or cutting on in the Auto setting, so there was no way to cool our room down except to open the exterior door and turn off the fan. So I would recommend finding a way to get a better heating cooling system.

close to the ski slope and shopping mall
The reception staff is extremely arrogant. They don't give any information, and you have to ask for everything, When you ask, you are treated badly.
They charged my card twice and said it was a system problem and they couldn't do anything to solve it...
Several employees without hotel uniforms come to clean the room, and you don't know if they are working at the hotel or not.
Every day, we had to ask for towels because they were taken away, and they didn't put another one in their place.
It was a terrible experience.

not worth the price at all, the rooms are far, they are noisy , the elevator are slow, managers at the hotel are very rude and careless… they don’t clean the room, some of the rooms are broken. they don’t care about the client at all- it’s more like you come to there home, not to the hotel where you must have a normal stay. Hope you won’t come here -it’s one of the most disappointing stays we ever had

The location was perfect, the look and feel of the hotel was on point. You could take the free lift down to base village. Super close to shops and restaurants. The gym was excellent.
I needed more towels to shower (just got done backpacking and hiking for three days). Called and asked for towels ASAP (the shower sprayed water EVERYWHERE when I turned it on due to the shower head being turned outwards. Lesson, always check the shower heads)..it took me three tries to get someone on the phone (kept going to a voicemail) and then another thirty minutes before someone brought towels. The hair dryer was broken. You have to park quite a ways away from the actual hotel. The pool was pretty gross filled with bugs and debris.

Location is great. Try to avoid the top floors due to the need to ride multiple elevators to access those floors
Too expensive, I enjoyed the stay but I will look elsewhere unless the price comes down.

The Viewline is in one of the best locations in all of Snowmass. Ski-in/ski-out accessibility is unbeatable as well as its proximity to several shops and restaurants in the village area.
It’s aging. It has been around for decades and it’s not all user friendly. It has rooms that require quite a walk from the entrance…which is fine if you are a young healthy person without kids.
