You can walk to the tram that will take you to Universal Studios. Very convenient. Places to eat are close by. You can go to the City walk to eat. Trams run for 6 am to 10 pm.
Parking is tight. We had a room with a sofa coach. The couch was not that comfortable.

We stayed for one night at Nite Inn at Universal City - Walking Distance to Universal Studios Hollywood. The main advantage of this hotel is definitely the location. It is very convenient for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood and serves that purpose very well.
The room was relatively small, but acceptable for a short overnight stay. The bathroom was perfectly fine and the room overall was clean enough for what we needed.
Overall, we would rate the experience around 7/10. Good location and practical for Universal Studios visitors, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.
However, the air conditioning unit was very old and extremely noisy. Honestly, it is difficult to understand how someone could comfortably sleep with it running during the night. Fortunately, the weather allowed us to turn it off while sleeping.
One important improvement we would strongly recommend is providing luggage storage for guests. Since the hotel mainly targets visitors going to Universal Studios, this should really be offered as a standard service. In Los Angeles, leaving luggage inside parked cars is a serious concern due to theft risks, so not having a secure storage option created unnecessary stress for us.
