The staff were odd or downright creepy. Check-in felt off, asked me to send the booking.com confirmation because they don't know the price of the stay. We were then led through the lobby to the parking lot next door with rooms that looked nothing like the pictures. So definitely misleading, and pricey for what it ended up being. Check-out just topped it. We wanted to leave our luggage to go to Universal during the day. The guy said "sure, but you have to pay for it." I asked how much, to which he replied "if you sing me a song, I'll let you store your luggage." I was weirded out and tried to politely laugh it off, but he insisted, up to 4 times. He even "installed" himself in his chair with his arms crossed as if he was getting ready for a performance. I was extremely uncomfortable at this point, because I was by myself. When I refused for the fifth time, he said "okay, a good review is fine too." When we went to pick up the luggage later (or my boyfriend did, I didn't want to go in anymore) the other guy repeated "give us a good review okay?" The places that beg for good reviews usually don't deserve them. This one definitely doesn't. There's other places near Universal that are fairer in price and more professional. Don't waste your money on this one and get fooled by the pictures.

Great location. Very affordable. Refrigerator and microwave. Great air conditioner. Free on-site parking.
Facilities were a little rough around the edges.
Bathroom door was broken at the base and didn't close.
Front door was secure but bottom edges were cracked and deteriorating.
Floors were a little dirty -needed to be swept better and mopped.

Good location and cute cottage rooms! We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay.
The garage spaces are a little tight if you have a bigger car but not bad overall.

Location of the hotel is in a nice area of Studio City. Very close to Universal Studios along which is fantastic. The room was small but in a good way. It was also very clean which I really appreciated. Xavier who works at the front desk was a great guy and love his personality.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. We had plentry of towels, soap, shampoos, very good towels too! Also loved that we didn't share walls with the other guests like in other motel/hotels. We didn't hear people walking around, banging doors, etc. It was very peaceful.
Could have used a spare blanket, the one on the bed was very thin. The continental breakfast was non existent, they were out of coffee at 9am, but we didn't stay there for the breakfast.

I liked that there was parking right up front so we can park close to our hotel room. The staff were friendly.
I wasn’t aware upon booking that the lot that the stay was in closed their gates at midnight which limited what we could partake in at night. Our room also had a cracked toilet which reduced the quality of my stay. Additionally, the front door also had significant damage like either water damage or pet was clawing it.

I love it all! It was comfortable, quiet, a perfect little secluded room that was very homey.
Maybe the only thing I didn't like was the parking garage. It's a first come first serve basis on who gets the structure. Larger vehicles will have a tight fit but we parked half way in it so we can get out and in anytime we needed. There are parking spots in front of the rooms as well.
