Breakfast was very good. The location was close to the trolly line and in a fairly safe part of the City.
The decor and furnishings were older and smelled dusty. They were not up to speed on electric outlets for technology.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a colorful, old-school charm with a vintage elevator that gives it character. Everything was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Lovely old property, room clean, comfortable bed, even had an old gated elevator which was charming. Downstairs they held a happy hour and breakfast which we enjoyed.

We had such a wonderful stay! Our room was spacious, but cozy, the staff was friendly & helpful, and the location was perfect! The breakfast & wine hour are a nice touch & we met several other guests from all over the world. We'll definitely return.
It would have been nice to have a fan in the room, but I noticed later that they're available from the front desk, so I should have asked.

Vintage and very clean. The staff very friendly. Does not have a/c but the weather is good , you don’t need it.
The noise. The rooms at the front of the building are difficult to get a good sleep. A bar across the street close at 11 pm or 12 am and the people get very loud. The Hotel does not have a/c , so you will hear everything … including the waste management truck. The frontdesk said no different rooms available.

Excellent breakfast and a wonderful happy hour brunch served in the downstairs dining room. All servers and front desk were extremely kind and attentive, going above and beyond to care for their customers.
Cool and quirky design with a lot of antique and old-school elements. I liked the old-fashioned decor, it vibes very well with San Francisco's overall atmosphere.
The location is great, within walking distance to major attractions and the cable car stop. 7-Eleven and plenty of restaurants just around the corner.
I had a fantastic stay, and I whole heartedly recommend you to choose the White Swan Inn as well. Thank you so much, and I'm hoping to be back soon!

Vintage and Charming. The room does not have A/C but is nice without it. The room is big and comfortable. The 5 pm wine is really nice.
We stayed in room 31 and 32 , front of the building. imposible to get a good sleep because of the noise. A bar across the street close at 11 pm and 12 am on Saturday . On Sunday night the bar was closed but the waste trucks go on front of the hotel at 5 am . It was sad because is a very nice hotel but those rooms are awful to get rest.

Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was simple but tasty. I must admit my favorite part was my room. It had a gas fire place. Room was well put together and bed was comfortable.
Kinda close to the Tenderloin but didn’t have an issues with people. Parking is very limited and paying $74 for overnight parking with valet was painful but necessary.

more than a hotel, like home! Very large room, with a separate dressing room, kitchenette, large comfortable bed, fireplace, amazing vintage-style entrance. My little girl loved playing on the living room sofas.
Special thanks to our colleague Ms. Sandy, who is distinguished by his exceptional insight and quickness. He helped us resolve all issues very quickly.
The water in the shower was running slowly. The breakfast could have been more sumptuous at this hotel.

the sheets smelled really bad- some kind of chemical smell, mothball/heavy detergent and the room was hot and not aired out:/ the bed wasn’t very comfortable at all as well. i thought the hotel was charming but i was expecting the room to be a bit more comfortable.
