Everything.! This is the best place to stay in San Francisco. Safe area. Very very comfortable and clean rooms.
The rooms are big.! The fire place is awesome and the breakfast is lovely

The cutest boutique inn with a great happy hour with wine and snacks such as grapes, crackers and cheese and a well decorated eccentric common area. The room itself was spacious, cute reading nook, cozy armchairs and a fireplace. Carpeted but clean and comfy
The TV was very small and placed in a location where you couldn't comfortably watch it. There was not a lot of space to put toiletry items - I would suggest a small rolling cart that you could put under the sink.

The White Swan Inn is perfectly located. All sight are in walking distance or reachable by public transport. The staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Francisco who served us in the breakfast room and during the Happy Hour stands out to me. Our room was very spacious, quiet, and clean. I would recommend the White Swan Inn whole heartedly.

It’s one of the pleasures to stay here while being in San Francisco and an attraction by itself to stay in a boutique hotel with British old fashioned flourish interiors with a vibe of old San Francisco and a touch from the world of fashion and music from 1960-70-s. I like an authentic old elevator though it takes additional minutes to open or close it properly.
Its a pleasure to sit near the gas-fireplace as the evenings in San Francisco are rather cold.
An oatmeal+nuts and cranberries and a good tea is all I need for breakfast so the small choice but of proper quality products suit me.
The luxerous Verbena bath products are one more welcoming touch.
Sometimes it take an additional time to wait for an elevator as it depends on the proper closing by the previous users. You have to be careful not to hurt your fingers while closing the sliding door of the elevator. The high beds are not suitable for everyone.

Great location, clearly a substandard breakfast. Nothing but carbohydrates. There was no protein source available no hard boiled eggs no cured meats.. no real fresh fruit such as blueberries or raspberries. They were small oranges pretty much oatmeal lots of breads with jelly and no peanut butter. If you have diabetes, this is probably not the breakfast for you.

Rooms are very nice. Just wish there was a night table on both side of the bed. Love the remodeled bathrooms.
We didn't feel the breakfast choices were as good as we've had in the past. The sweet rolls, donuts, croissants all tasted day old, not as fresh as we remember from past stays. Miss the hard boiled eggs but understand that eggs are at a premium right now.
