the staff were friendly and helpful, location is also great and downstairs area was really charming
the sheets smelled really bad- some kind of chemical smell, mothball/heavy detergent and the room was hot and not aired out:/ the bed wasn’t very comfortable at all as well. i thought the hotel was charming but i was expecting the room to be a bit more comfortable.

Really cozy and comfortable stay at the White Swan. The staff were super friendly and had tonnes of great recommendations for local restaurants, location is great - 10min walk to Union Square subway and trolley. Wine & cheese o'clock is a lovely touch and made the stay feel a little more elevated and luxurious. Beds are super comfy.
Nothing - it did exactly what it said on the tin. It's not high end luxury, it's a quaint, quirky and very comfortable.
