Built high atop Ghirardelli Square with San Francisco Bay views, this urban San Francisco resort features luxurious apartments with free WiFi and fully equipped gourmet kitchens. Location is absolutely fantastic! Steps from restaurants and walking along the Fishermans Wharf and Fort Mason. View to Alcatraz! Staff were friendly and the apartment was wonderful, large and well appointed. The bed was super comfortable. Will definitely stay there again!.

It's not what it used to be. No more driver, butler, concierge lounge daily. The fixtures and furnishings are not only dated but scuffed up, chipped and just old - not in a good way. Staff will no longer help you get reservations, arrange for really anything. It's more like an air BNB. This sounds like 1%er problems but at 1300.00 a night, I expected the Fairmont to be as I remembered. there's little value here. With the exception of 1 or 2 staff, I find very little to say about the Fairmont Heritage other than look elsewhere, you'll feel taken advantage of.
