Super location . I was there for a conference -10 minute walk . Got Bart train from airport to Powell station aid 5 minute walk . Absolute lovely staff from door man to reception staff to restaurant . Coffee and pastries in morning was a great idea too

The included breakfast was very nice. I had a delightful Indian-style omelette. Supper in the Bombay Bistro was excellent as well, and the service was impeccable.
In the morning, the first selection of lobby music I encountered was a Mozart string quartet. I loved that. The contemporary nondescript background music, though, was annoying.

The location is great, and I felt very safe despite being in Union Square
They charge a hefty fee for room service which I find ridiculous since the food is already overpriced

they are not true to their charging, during my stay i asked the front desk about why I was charged $100 extra from the price posted in the website, they said I will charge only the room rate plus the beer I ordered in the resto-bar but at the end my card was charged way to much than expected.
