The room was clean and bed was very comfy. Loved that there was a duvet each! Staff were friendly and helpful.
It was extremely noisy throughout the night. This was mainly other guest however this was not monitored by hotel staff.
The bar was not open throughout the duration of our stay (4 nights).
The location was close to union square however was very close to Jones St with lots of homeless near by.
The elevator was also broke and didn’t get fixed.

We booked the Scarlet Queen room for three nights, but the experience was disappointing. Due to a broken elevator, we were placed on a lower floor—but in a much smaller room that didn’t match the photos on Booking.com. Apparently, the hotel initially gave us the Persona Queen room, which is smaller than the Scarlet.
We were later moved to the correct room, but the AC wasn’t working. Despite attempts to fix it, only the fan function worked. We spent three uncomfortable nights and were only given a portable fan. When I asked to change rooms, the only options were a smaller room or a paid “upgrade.”
Not the stay we expected for the price. Very disappointing.

I loved my stay! The hotel is super cute, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. The complimentary snacks, coffee and tea pods, and bottled water were definitely a nice touch. There was an issue with the elevator, but the hotel refunded me for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again. The area around the hotel is good too. There were a few homeless people around, especially at night or early in the morning, but that’s pretty common across the city, so I thought it was okay. I was traveling solo and felt very safe overall.

The worst experience in my life in a hotel.
The elevator was out of service during my entire stay, and no one offered to help with luggage or food deliveries. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work, and they blocked access to my room without any notice, leaving me locked out with my belongings inside. It’s unacceptable for a 4-star hotel to be without an elevator, and for most of the staff — except for Manuel Sarmiento, who was kind and helpful — to be so discourteous. When I went to ask about a charge on my bill, one of the staff members told me he didn’t want to talk to me. Completely unprofessional.

The theme and design,it was near the main location we needed to be near
The tv didn’t work nor the elevator but we were accommodated for the elevator. Also there was a bad smell that came from the shower due to some sort of black build up that I sprayed off. When the water hit it the smell was instant so idk if it was mold or what.

The room was so comfortable. Definitely nice to come back to after a long day of site-seeing! The reusable water bottles were amazing, and the beds were so great.
The location was iffy. It borders on the main tourist square, but the sheer amount of homeless people and questionable people hanging around made it uncomfortable at night.
