We love that this hotel’s rooms are always very clean, the beds comfortable, the staff very friendly and accommodating
and …they include free parking. This stay I got to meet Corey, one of the hotel’s owners. We had about a 10 minute chat. I found him to be very present to talk with and he was delighted and thankful that we had chose his hotel.

FREE PARKING in one of the best areas in the City!
Rooms are modest and clean. (And in this area, there’s no reason to be in the room during the day!)

Great stay. Easy check in. Super easy parking right in front of the entrance. Exactly what I needed .
I like when hotels use the washable comforter and wish this one used these.... they have the somewhat old school hotel comforter. No a deal breaker , but prefer the washable ones. Thats just being nit picky.

A classic city motel squeezed into a lively center of San Francisco, where Chinatown meets North Beach. Parking in the underground valet garage is included. The room was comfortable and large. We were within walking distance of our favorite Italian restaurants and coffee shops, and discovered some great Chinese greasy spoons as well.
The Chinese nightclub across the street broadcasts directly into the front rooms but they cut their music early. We had no problem sleeping.

I picked this motel because of its location across the street from theatre where we went for a jazz show and had dinner afterwards in North Beach. It is a very basic, no frills motel but has free parking which was also a sought out feature. The reception staff was courteous and check in/out was very quick. Our room was towards the back so relatively quiet and with the blackout curtains we slept pretty well.
We had to leave car downstairs garage with valet since the upstairs lot was full when we arrived and we noticed some quarters (about $1.50-$2 worth only) were missing from our car the following morning when we left/checked out. The reason I know some quarters were taken was because I have specific slot that I put quarters (for parking meters) and it's full to capacity so when there are some missing, I notice. The shower tiles appeared new but the shower pan wasn't - looked like an incomplete shower remodel/upgrade.

I was told when checking in the housekeeping services were provided only when requested. I did not request service but came back to find my room cleaned, the curtains closed, and far more towels and coffee cups than one person needs.

There was no breakfast but, if they offered it it would be nice.
After complaining about no housekeeping for our room it would've been helpful if the staff had reiterated the policy of housekeeping only every other day and inquired if we wanted to request every day housekeeping with clean linens and trash pickup.

Excellent North Beach location -- lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Free and convenient parking. Leave your car parked and take advantage of the easy walking to BART, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, ...
We stay at the Royal Pacific often. It is a little worn and a little noisy but a great value. Enjoy!

China Live across the road is great!
The room was incredibly noisy. The bed was uncomfortable. The price was outrageous. The Booking.com conditions were onerous. Wouldn't go back.
